Karri Group ("we," "us," "our") builds apps for the Atlassian ecosystem. This policy describes what information this website collects, how it's used, and who we share it with. We're a small, pre-launch team — this policy will grow as our products do, but it reflects what we actually do today.

1. Information we collect

• Chat messages. If you use the chat widget on this site, the text you type is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a reply.
• Contact information you give us directly. If you email support@karrigroup.com or request early access, we receive whatever you include (e.g. your email address, name, and message).
• Basic technical logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard request data (IP address, timestamp, requested page) for security and reliability purposes.

2. What we don't do

• We do not store chat transcripts in a database. Messages are forwarded to our AI provider to generate a response and are not otherwise persisted by us.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers or sell personal information.
• We do not use the content of your chat messages or emails to train our own models.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to operate the chat assistant, respond to inquiries, provide early access to apps like External Viewer for Jira, and keep the site secure (for example, rate-limiting abusive traffic).

4. Third-party service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run this site:

• OpenAI — processes chat messages to generate assistant replies, subject to OpenAI's own API terms and privacy practices.
• Our hosting provider — serves the website and may retain standard server logs.

We don't control these providers' independent data practices; we encourage you to review their policies if you have questions beyond what's covered here.

5. Data retention

Contact emails are kept as long as reasonably needed to respond to you or maintain our records. Chat messages are not stored by us beyond the request needed to generate a reply. Standard server logs are retained by our hosting provider on its normal schedule.

6. Cookies

This site does not currently use cookies for advertising or analytics tracking.

7. Children's privacy

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Your choices

You can always choose not to use the chat widget and instead contact us directly by email. To ask about, correct, or delete information you've sent us, email support@karrigroup.com.

9. Changes to this policy

As Karri Group launches products on the Atlassian Marketplace, this policy will be updated to reflect new data practices. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when that happens.
